Communities for Change (CfC) is appealing for Food aid support to 250 vulnerable households (approx. 1,250pax) who are at risk of starvation due to ongoing drought. Data shows that 1.8Million people are currently affected by family following the depressed rains witnessed in the month of March to May. It is expected this number will rise to 2.1Million people if the Oct-December rains fail.This is worrying as Children and Women are greatest victims of drought. Remember you donation can save a life.
Each household requires only $10 to run them for three months with food supply. The total budget for 250households is $25,000.

Why we want to do this;
- Most part of Kenya did not receive adequate rains in the just concluded long rains of March to May 2025.Many families still remain vulnerable and exposed to untold hunger especially the elderly,expctant and breastfeeding mothers and the sickly.
- Orphans, mostly in Africa live with their grandparents who in most cases are poor and have no means to provide for them.
- The elderly will in most cases stay alone in dilapidated homes and have no means to provide for themselves.
- The elderly will in many cases be terminally ill and have to eat something before medication which has now been complicated by lack of food due to drought.
- Poor and Sick people have no means of livelihood and depend on support from well-wishers.
